I have a Kaizen Yellow Belt in Lean and Just-in-Time recruiting strategies. I’m well-versed in Boolean and X-ray searches and I have deep understanding in Agile and Value Stream Mapping practices in recruiting. I have been trained in current best practices for Workforce Analytics & Financial Planning for Human Resources; Employee Turnover Management; New Hire Orientation; Compensation Management & Administration; Strategic Workforce Planning; and Data Analytics. In addition to my consulting work, on a select, case-by-case basis, I work as an executive coach to assist solopreneurs, primarily in staffing and recruiting. I am also a Certified Career Coach who knows and understands exactly what HR and hiring managers look for when making decisions about candidates.

I have been a top producer/big biller in staffing and I have owned and operated my own recruiting firm before. I know what it takes to be successful in this industry—and I also know how to work in a way that is quick, efficient, and cost-effective for your company.
I am also proud to announce that Causey Consulting LLC has been recognized with a Stellar Business Award for Stellar Service in HR Consulting.
Through data analytics, I can also help HR & TA teams answer the following questions / solve the following problems:
After our initial intake call to determine your needs and establish if I can help you, we will communicate via email. So if you’re looking for someone who’ll camp out on a Slack channel all day or who’s always willing to “hop on Zoom,” I’m not the consultant for you. Put simply: you tell me what you need accomplished and then I’ll work independently to make it happen for you. No phone calls, Zoom calls, or chit-chats needed. Think of it this way: you’re a busy professional yourself. Your goal in hiring a consultant is to outsource your project to an expert who can deliver outstanding results on time and on budget. Your goal is not to be a micromanager or a babysitter. (And if it is, well, you’re totally in the wrong place!)
I am most interested in working with medium to large established companies. I have experience with Fortune 500 firms with a global presence as well as medium companies with 200-500 people in regional offices. These companies have enough infrastructure to truly support a sensible hiring strategy and to onboard candidates in a way that is modern and nimble. I do not work with young start-up companies or organizations that are not truly able to hire employees.

May the 4th be with you! I had a great time speaking with Russ Johns on The Pirate Broadcast. We discuss abundance versus the scarcity mindset, “let me pick your brain” requests, limiting beliefs, etc.
The Pirate Broadcast Interview
I had an absolute blast talking with Michael “Fritz” Fritzius of Arch DevOps. We discussed everything from taxes to hustle porn to embracing the splat to Wile E. Coyote to epic business fails to Gordon Gekko to Kevin O’Leary. Check it out here:
I had the pleasure of being a guest on Eric Dye’s podcast, which is part of the Enterprise Radio Network. In this interview, I speak candidly about the ups and downs of my first business, a staffing firm I operated as a solopreneur. What do you do when the parachute doesn’t open? Also, why am I so convinced that mindset is the key to your success or failure? Find out here:
What All Staffing Professionals Need To Know
I was recently interviewed by Ryan O’Donnell, the Host of PeopleTalk. In this discussion, I talk about my experience running a staffing agency for myself and what you need to consider if you are thinking about running a solo recruiting desk. There is a clear difference between working IN a business versus ON a business.
I had a great time talking with Bob Clark on the OnFire B2B Podcast. In this short interview, I discuss why mindset matters so much in your business!
