If you like WFH, Lord Elon thinks you’re a moral reprobate

So . . . the same guy who was photographed with Ghislaine Maxwell and who has been subpoenaed in the Jeffrey Epstein banking case thinks YOU are a moral reprobate if you want to continue working from home post-pandemic. Those of us paying our taxes, raising kids, loving our spouses, feeding our pets, etc., are scumbag pieces of 💩 but Lord Elon is a paragon of virtue? For me this goes beyond a bad satire or a clown world. It’s just flat-out disgusting.

Silicon Valley “laptop classes” need to get off their “moral high horse” with their “work-from-home bulls***,” Tesla
CEO Elon Musk told CNBC’s David Faber in a Tuesday interview.

Musk was discussing return-to-office imperatives that have caused significant concern among tech workers in Silicon Valley and across the U.S., many of whom were promised generous remote work mandates by top executives.

“I think that the whole notion of work from home is a bit like the fake Marie Antoinette quote, ’Let them eat cake,”″ Musk said. “It’s not just a productivity thing,” Musk said. “I think it’s morally wrong.”

Musk referred to tech workers as the “laptop classes living in la-la-land,” telling Faber it was hypocritical to work from home while expecting service workers to continue to show up in person.

“People should get off the goddamn moral high horse with the work-from-home bulls***,” Musk continued.

As productivity apparently slackened and investor expectations grew, many executives at companies including Amazon and Salesforce have demanded workers begin to return to offices.

To be clear, I’ve never understood the attraction to this guy in the first place. I don’t trust him as far as I could throw him. Some of the folks on the right thought he was gonna be some great savior of free speech and an ender of “cancel culture,” but it seems like all he did was make a giant mess and then appoint someone else to be CEO. For me, anybody who touts human brain implants and who had literally anything at all to do with Epstein and Maxwell = no thanks. No f**king thanks.

The hypocrisy continues with this argument because service workers weren’t expected to show up during the pandemic. They were deemed “non-essential” and told to go home. If you want to argue about something being morally repugnant, let’s go there. Let’s make the argument that deeming someone “non-essential” and tossing them aside like trash and not giving a f**k about how they’ll take care of themselves in a global crisis is morally repugnant.

This is more of the same crap we get from the elites. Panic when you’re told to panic. Calm down when you’re told to calm down. Take a laptop and work from home when you’re told to. C’mon back to the office and sit in the cube farm again when you’re told to.

The only positive point here is that he admits it’s not a productivity issue. Of course it’s not and never has been! Control. Conformity. Obedience. The stock-in-trade of Corpo America. Are you gonna go along to get along or are you gonna be a problem, pal?

For Lord Elon – clearly a saint amongst all of us sinners, ha ha – when you conform through RTO, you are also virtue signaling to everyone else how goodly and righteous you are.
