One of my clients brought up the question of “what about the ‘almost’ clients… what do we do there?” Almost clients remind me of that State Farm commercial with the guy who has a dollar attached to the end of a fishing pole.
So many sales tactics revolve around: onboard all prospects at all costs! If you got a live one on the phone, get them to sign on the dotted line no matter what.
